BRG Group and SeABank Donate 5 Billion VND Worth of Medical Equipment for COVID-19 Prevention and Control to the Ministry of Public Security

On September 30, 2021, BRG Group and SeABank, through the “BRG and SeABank New Life Social Security Fund,” donated essential medical equipment worth 5 billion VND to the Ministry of Public Security. These advanced and modern devices, produced by leading global brands, are crucial in the fight against COVID-19.

Specifically, the “BRG and SeABank New Life Social Security Fund” provided:

• 20 five-function electric beds from Linet – Czech Republic

• 1 cardiac output monitor (dual-function) from Pulsion Medical Systems SE – Germany

• 2 high-function ventilators with high-flow oxygen therapy tools from Datex-Ohmeda Inc. (GE Healthcare) – USA

Since the fourth wave of COVID-19, the police force has been a key frontline in combating the pandemic. Despite facing numerous challenges and dangers, police officers have made significant contributions to controlling the disease nationwide. Support from organizations like BRG Group and SeABank is invaluable, enhancing resources to protect the health of police officers and contributing to the fight against COVID-19.

The “BRG and SeABank New Life Social Security Fund” was established by BRG Group, SeABank, and their affiliates to support COVID-19 prevention efforts nationwide. Prior to this, the fund had donated medical equipment to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, two major centers severely affected by the pandemic.

Since the beginning of 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, the “BRG and SeABank New Life Social Security Fund” has donated a total of nearly 200 billion VND to support pandemic prevention and social welfare efforts nationwide. 

The fund has engaged in various activities, including:

• Donations through central and local government organizations: Contributing to funds and providing advanced medical equipment.

• Direct support to individuals and workers affected by the pandemic: Distributing antibacterial masks and essential goods.

• Providing antibacterial masks and essential items: Distributing them to residents in various provinces and cities across the country.

In addition to COVID-19 support activities, BRG Group and its affiliates have actively participated in charitable and social welfare initiatives, including:

• Assisting the poor and disadvantaged: Providing financial support and material assistance.

• Supporting people in central regions and areas affected by natural disasters: Delivering relief supplies and aiding in recovery efforts.

• Contributing to social welfare and charity funds: Supporting various charitable organizations and programs.

• Providing houses for the poor and families with meritorious services: Offering housing to those in need.
