On August 17, 2021, a shipment from the “New Life Charity Fund – BRG and SeABank,” valued at 11 billion VND, arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. This initiative aimed to collaborate with state agencies and support the residents of the city in their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The shipment included 10 County 29-seat buses, assembled by Vinamotor, a member company of BRG Group, using 100% genuine imported components to ensure optimal operational quality. These buses were intended for agencies and units involved in COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. Additionally, 5,000 gift packages containing essential food and necessities were distributed to residents in the area.
Representatives from BRG Group and SeABank handed over the 10 buses to the receiving units.
Given the complex and severe impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the economic and social life of Ho Chi Minh City over the past months, especially with the city extending social distancing measures for another month, the support and encouragement from organizations and businesses like BRG Group and SeABank are of immense significance. Their contributions help enhance resources and provide practical assistance to both the government and residents in responding to the pandemic, thereby contributing to the early control of the disease and the stabilization of daily life.
Previously, in early August 2021, BRG Group, SeABank, and Northern Ha Noi Smart City Investment and Development Company donated medical equipment worth 50 billion VND to Hanoi. The donation included state-of-the-art equipment such as an automated Real-time PCR system, an automated 96-sample DNA/RNA extractor, advanced ventilators, and 5-parameter patient monitors.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, BRG Group, SeABank, and their member units have contributed over 111 billion VND to COVID-19 prevention and control and social welfare. These contributions have been made through various channels, including:
· Donations to central and local government organizations
· Direct support to people and workers affected by the pandemic
· Distribution of antibacterial masks
· Provision of essential goods to people in 27 provinces and cities across the country
For many years, social welfare and charitable activities have been a top priority for BRG Group and its entire ecosystem. This reflects the spirit and role of a model corporate citizen, always joining hands with the government and people from the central to local levels.
In addition to supporting COVID-19 prevention, since the beginning of 2020, BRG Group and its member units have actively participated in various charitable and social welfare activities, including:
· Supporting the poor and disadvantaged
· Providing aid to people in the Central region and other areas affected by natural disasters
· Contributing to social welfare and charitable funds
· Building houses of gratitude for the poor and families of war veterans
Solidarity, Sharing, and Confidence
For you, for me, for BRG, and for a strong Vietnam.
